You can now check out E-books for free from the Kansas Library. All you need to do is come into the library and get a Kansas Library Card. This is different from your city library card. With the Kansas Library Card you will be able to search online from the comfort of your own home, place holds on books checked out or immediately download the available book. If you’ve placed books on hold, they will automatically upload to your E-reader, smartphone or laptop when they become available.  Don’t know how to download E-Books? Come into the library for a free class anytime during our regular hours. Don’t own an E-reader? Your smartphone or laptop can get a free app from the Kansas library that will allow you to read E-books! E-mail, call or message us on facebook with your questions. We’ll be glad to help you get started with an E-reader today!

With Spring Break over, we know that summer is just around the corner. Year after year, we hear the same thing: kids who read during the summer months retain their reading skills. Why not let your kids join the Hamilton Summer Reading Program. There are activities, story times, prizes & even an end of summer pool party! Registration will start May 1st. All ages are welcome to participate. We look forward to dreaming big with the kids of Hamilton this summer!
